Q: Is Coastal Oaks Church affiliated with a particular denomination?

A: Yes, Coastal Oaks Church was founded in 1983 as "Coastal Oaks Baptist Church" and continues to operate as a Baptist church to this day. We willingly partner with the Blanco Baptist Association locally, the Southern Baptist of Texas Convention at the State level, and the Southern Baptist Convention nationally.

Q: Where is the offering plate?

A: Financial gifts ("tithes and offerings") given to Coastal Oaks Church are received three ways:

  1. Drop your gift in one of our four offering boxes located on site during your next visit.
  2. Give a one-time gift or set up a recurring gift online on the Give page.
  3. Text giving allows you to send a gift to Coastal Oaks via text message right from your mobile phone.  Details about text giving can be found on the Give page.

Q: Does Coastal Oaks have a Christian school?

A: No.  Coastal Oaks Christian School closed permanently in 2011.
